Subject: [PATCHv4 0/4] watchdog: add K3 RTI watchdog support

Hi,

This addresses the comments from Rob against the DT binding doc, and
does the necessary changes to the driver code based on that (just
compatible name change on that side.) I retained Guenter's reviewed by
tag due to the very minor changes to the code.

Version jumps to v4 for all patches here, I happened to post v3 of patch
#3 before.

Subject: [PATCHv4 1/4] dt-bindings: watchdog: Add support for TI K3 RTI watchdog

TI K3 SoCs contain an RTI (Real Time Interrupt) module which can be
used to implement a windowed watchdog functionality. Windowed watchdog
will generate an error if it is petted outside the time window, either
too early or too late.

which can be used as a watchdog. This IP provides a support for

Subject: [PATCHv4 2/4] watchdog: reset last_hw_keepalive time at start

Currently the watchdog core does not initialize the last_hw_keepalive
time during watchdog startup. This will cause the watchdog to be pinged
immediately if enough time has passed from the system boot-up time, and
some types of watchdogs like K3 RTI does not like this.

To avoid the issue, setup the last_hw_keepalive time during watchdog
startup.

Hmm nice catch, this should be fixed. I wonder why the DT test tools did
not catch this when I changed the compatible...

ti,am65-rti-wdt should be added as a new compatible to this binding once
we have a board where we can actually support this. Right now TI AM65x
boards depend on firmware for the ESM side support; there has been some
internal discussion about how to get this done and I believe you are
aware of that.
