2.25.1
The driver is for amplifiers NAU8325 of Nuvoton Technology Corporation.
The NAU8325 is a stereo high efficiency filter-free Class-D audio
amplifier, which is capable of driving a 4ohm load with up to 3W output
power.

I know this property already has users, but this is a new device and you
are writing a new driver from scratch, could you instead call it
"nuvoton,vref-impedance-ohms" and make the options the impednances
themselves?
The absence of the property could then be used to indicate that it is an
open circuit?

I would also rather than this enum was used to have sensible values for
the enum itself (which I suppose means strings here), rather than the
register values. Seeing "nuvoton,dac-vref = <2>" in a devicetree is not
very meaningful IMO.

Do you have a concrete suggestion for how to more clearly write these
directly?

Please use a C++ comment for the whole block to make things look more
consistent.

AFAICT this will only work well if max is 1, just hard code that.

Please use mixer-test to verify that your controls conform to the
expected API, the return value here is not what's expected - it should
be a negative value for an error, 0 for no change and 1 for change.

Shouldn't this be a Switch?

ALC Switch.

What happens if someone enables clock detection while things are powered
up?

I would use what's been given as the explanation comments for each of
the current enum values in the patch.

Given that none of *, / nor . are usable in defines that's going to need
a bit of massaging...

At the end of the day, if it is too painful on the driver, then I'll
live with another enum. This is one of the worse cases of this sort of
enum that is clearly a bunch of register values, given there's not a
"nice" explanation for them.

Please fix your mail setup, the quoting etc is broken (html mail?) and
you have this footer there, which is not really compatible with working

To be clear, since I was not in my earlier mail, you can leave this as it
was, given Mark's complaints about what the handling for it in the driver
would look like with the special characters.
Thanks,
Conor.
