Later patch will introduce a flag for vmcore objects to represent whether a given memory associated with the vmcore object resides in the 1st kernel (old memory) or the 2nd kernel. Then, this function will be modified so as to decide where to read according to the flag of a given vmcore object. This cleanup will also be useful to make the change clearer.
