I'm using avicap from avifile project, with XviD capture codec. Video capture works flawlessly. When I enable audio capture in addition (48 kHz, 16bit, Mono) is when the problem starts (not after some time, but at the moment I start the capture process). I do not have many ideas on why smp_apic_timer_interrupt is the problem, since this is a uniprocessor system. Suggestions? -Malte #8-) Keywords: audio, via, ac97, capture, smp_apic_timer Kernel version: 2.4.18-k7 Oops output (decoded): --cut (captured before system was rebooted, so should be accurate)-- ksymoops 2.4.6 on i686 2.4.18-k7. I will assume that the log matches the kernel and modules that are running right now and I'll use the default options above for symbol resolution. If the current kernel and/or modules do not match the log, you can get more accurate output by telling me the kernel version and where to find map, modules, ksyms etc. ksymoops -h explains the options.
