It seems possible that the LNet initialization routines are not called properly in this case? They _should_ be marked __init, but maybe there is some bug related to this. Is it possible to mark the Lustre code as "module only" so that it can't be built-in until this bug is resolved? Sorry, I don't know much about the Kconfig code.
