It looks like for some reason rcu_barrier is taking forever while the rtnl_lock is held in cleanup_net. Because the rtnl_lock is held modprobe of the ppp driver is getting stuck. Is it possible we have an AB BA deadlock between the rtnl_lock and rcu. With something the module loading code assumes?
