Can you try with the attached atkbd.c? It uses RESET_BAT instead of SSCANSET, which will slow down the reboot a bit, but should be very safe to bring the keyboard to its power-on state, which the BIOS should be able to handle. -- Vojtech Pavlik SuSE Labs --qMm9M+Fa2AknHoGS Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="atkbd.c" /* * AT and PS/2 keyboard driver * * Copyright (c) 1999-2002 Vojtech Pavlik */ /* * This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it * under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 2 as published by * the Free Software Foundation. */ #include #include #include #include #include #include #include #include MODULE_AUTHOR("Vojtech Pavlik "); MODULE_DESCRIPTION("AT and PS/2 keyboard driver"); MODULE_PARM(atkbd_set, "1i"); MODULE_PARM(atkbd_reset, "1i"); MODULE_LICENSE("GPL"); static int atkbd_set = 2; #if defined(__i386__) || defined (__x86_64__) static int atkbd_reset; #else static int atkbd_reset = 1; #endif /* * Scancode to keycode tables.
