Regarding the rtl8188eu driver, would it be acceptable to rewrite it to use the rtlwifi interface instead of using mac80211 directly? I can't help but notice some similarities between the structure of rtl8188eu and the drivers from the rtlwifi family. Then again, perhaps I'm missing something that makes it a bad idea.
