Larry has even encouraged people to do this. what he is refusing to do is to pay the cash for the bandwith to support this. I'll volunteer to run such a server so that you purists don't have to get your hands dirty by touching bitkeeper, as long as someone else is paying the bandwidth and hosting costs (and I'm not requiring a colo facility, someone's house with appropriate bandwidth is good enough for me. I'm willing to cut any corners that can be cut to keep it cheap) David Lang On Fri, 14 Feb 2003, Davide Libenzi wrote: > Date: Fri, 14 Feb 2003 17:05:08 -0800 (PST) > From: Davide Libenzi > To: Jamie Lokier > Cc: Larry McVoy , linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org > Subject: Re: openbkweb-0.0 > > On Sat, 15 Feb 2003, Jamie Lokier wrote: > > > Larry McVoy wrote: > > > But nobody seems willing to stand up and say "well, maybe if we hadn't been > > > stealing all this music these laws might not have come into existence". > > > > > > I'll leave you to make the BitKeeper connection, I'm sure you are smart > > > enough to do so. > > > > On this we agree.
