I've filed a bug for you here : https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91535 I've verified that Peter's PPA library when installed fixes the race condition you guys were talking about but running the test program tests/nouveau/threaded so, this issue we're discussing here is a separate one.
