This happened with 2.5.58, 2.5.59, 2.5.60. 2.5.62 (I haven't tested 2.5.61) After a tip I tested 2.5.40 and it boots (although there were some kbd.c issues, but it is a eraly kernel anway, I would look forward to look if it happend with .6x too, but I need to get the box started for that;) ) I also have tested it only on my laptop as my main box is a little server too, so I wouldn't experiment with kernels there...
