In little endian cases, __constant_cpu_to_le16 and cpu_to_le16 expand directly to the same expression. So, replace __constant_cpu_to_le16 with cpu_to_le16 with the goal of getting rid of the definition of __constant_cpu_to_le16 completely. The semantic patch that performs this transformation is as follows: @@expression x;@@ - __constant_cpu_to_le16(x) + cpu_to_le16(x) Signed-off-by: Vaishali Thakkar --- drivers/usb/usbip/vhci_hcd.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/drivers/usb/usbip/vhci_hcd.c b/drivers/usb/usbip/vhci_hcd.c index e9ef1ec..42c8231 100644 --- a/drivers/usb/usbip/vhci_hcd.c +++ b/drivers/usb/usbip/vhci_hcd.c @@ -218,7 +218,7 @@ static inline void hub_descriptor(struct usb_hub_descriptor *desc) memset(desc, 0, sizeof(*desc)); desc->bDescriptorType = USB_DT_HUB; desc->bDescLength = 9; - desc->wHubCharacteristics = __constant_cpu_to_le16( + desc->wHubCharacteristics = cpu_to_le16( HUB_CHAR_INDV_PORT_LPSM | HUB_CHAR_COMMON_OCPM); desc->bNbrPorts = VHCI_NPORTS; desc->u.hs.DeviceRemovable[0] = 0xff; -- 1.9.1 -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
