It makes two key changes: 1.) PnP Cards can now have several pnp card drivers bound to them 2.) PnP Card Services now use manual attaching and detaching of drivers. As a result, it can run card requests through the same code paths as regular drivers and therefore the amount of code required to handle card drivers is significantly reduced.
