I do have to load the OSS API emulation, but otherwise > there are no anomalies. I am including my lsmod output, lspci output, and > configuration in case it helps. I am using the intel8x0 driver. That may be what is broken. All I know is that 0.9.2 works with 2.4.21-rc5 and 0.9.3c does *not* work with 2.4.21-rc5. ALSA on 2.5.70-bk2 reported to be 0.9.2, but everyone says it is 0.9.3c. I'm confused as to what is going on, but because it isn't working, I'm assuming the problem is in the ALSA driver itself. Attached is my lspci, lsmod, dmesg, and config for 2.5.70-bk2. I have installed all of the ALSA stuff on the alsa-project site and I have explicitly run snddevices for 0.9.2 and 0.9.3c on two different occasions with 2.5.70-bk2. No luck either way. Any help to give?
