Plain old BIOS is enough. I based my statement on a discussion from about a week ago on the list and that seemed to indicate that the IBM Thinkpads had a 'white-list' of sorts to allow only some specific mini-PCI cards. IIRC it was the T40, R40 and X31 that was affected. Apologies if my statement was incorrect. /A --=-ag2K5P2hguYeH4IMEFKM Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-rc1-SuSE (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQA+6PYDLYywqksgYBoRApmxAJ95f0eMjWhd/thz5jdwBiS6RcpIOACgvW1S TnDpVDXDTvG+SQr5kn2PeHQ= =bpXm -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-ag2K5P2hguYeH4IMEFKM-- - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
