Sender: linux-kernel-owner@vger.kernel.org X-Mailing-List: linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org I am using VMware to test a linux install and since I have upgraded to 2.4.2-ac14 the VM locks up right after: calibrating APIC timer ... ..... CPU clock speed is 1152.4771 MHz. ..... host bus clock speed is 0.0000 MHz. cpu: 0, clocks: 0, slice: 0 The last line is where it locks up... Its kind of suspicious that the clock speeds are wrong, The CPU speed should be 733 MHz (unless VMWare is using both my CPU's?) and I am almost 100% sure that the bus speed should not be 0.0000 MHz! Can anyhone help me with this? Is it a bug on my part or what?
