There are a few typos, and a few structs miss documentation but otherwise it's pretty good. And of course you need to use the kernel types (__u32 etc). The one thing that I worry about is if these structs are the same for 32 and 64 bit arm. I found a very nice utility called 'abi-dumper' (at least available for debian) that can take an object file and dump the abi. So if you do something like this: test.c: // add #includes here union { struct rkisp1_stat_buffer stat; struct rkisp1_isp_params_cfg params; } x; And then compile this twice 'gcc -g -Og -c test.c' for both 32 and 64 bit ARM and run abi-dumper over both object files, the result should be the same. I suspect it won't be the same, but I am not sure. They have to be the same or a 32 bit application running under a 64 bit kernel will be unable to read out the data. Regards, Hans
