Well, if you don't have the hardware anymore, fixing it would be moot and the only thing we can do is remove it. So, the question is, do you still have a functioning box and you want to waste your time with it? I mean, this is pentium III, it probably takes forever to build the latest kernel on it and if it were me, I'd simply buy new hardware.
