It is a custom compiled vanilla 2.6.5 kernel. It has 3 x 2GB RAM modules installed, 2 on one CPU and the other RAM module on the other CPU. The BIOS reports 6144MB on boot up. An AGP line reports (see dmesg below) agpgart: Maximum main memory to use for agp memory: 5944M during bootup, so the kernel looks like it thinks we have ~6GB available. But a free reports 5GB, not 6GB.
