Exactly the same way a lockpick is a "purely technical workaround" for doors the owner "accidentally" locked... > Can't we respect this as his explanation and move on so these efforts > can be better directed towards improving the kernel? Very true. > Hell - Marc has > alot of work to-do in order for driverloader to be compatible with 4K > stacks ;) His efforts should better be directed at getting real (open source) support in place. But it is his calling in the end, I don't presume to decide what he should do with his time. As long as the relevant licenses (and hopefully also the wishes of the creators of the kernel) are respected. -- Dr. Horst H. von Brand User #22616 counter.li.org Departamento de Informatica Fono: +56 32 654431 Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria +56 32 654239 Casilla 110-V, Valparaiso, Chile Fax: +56 32 797513 - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
