Nah, I don't think the novelty would last very long - can you imagine
toggling something like KDE in on the front panel?

Now, a less huge plunge back to 1977 hardware might be fun.  If anybody
is throwing away unwanted VAX hardware in the London and Kent area, I might
be interested :-).
