I believe I cleaned up the issues they reported and I've now updated the patch for 2.6.11 and resubmit it to you for potential inclusion. A lot of the changes are arguably a matter of style and preference, but since several different styles are used in the code I've tried to at least make it consistent. There should be no actual impact on the generated object file from this, merely changes to make it more readable to the human eye, more grep friendly, and slightly more adherent to the 80chars pr line rule... I never got a clear ACK/NACK from you on this patch, but I see that a few of the changes in the previous version are in 2.6.11 - it would be nice if you could send me an ack/nack on this one, if you don't want these changes I might as well drop it. I've cut this patch on top of the one I send a few hours ago with the fix for the copy_to_user warning, hope that's OK. There are still some cleanups to be made in fs/cifs/file.c . There are some unnessesary casts that can go the way of the Dodo (I believe Domen Puncer is working on those - need a hand there Domen?), and there are also a lot of unnesssary if (foo) kfree(foo); constructs - since kfree() deals fine with NULL pointers, a lot of those can go as well. I've not included such changes in this patch to nut mix things up and keep this one about whitespace changes only, but if you are interrested in such further cleanups I'll get to work and submit patches to you.
