I've built a vanilla 4.19.63 kernel for this, and I'm not seeing any of the six (SATA) disks I've attached to it. I've tried modprobing the hptiop module manually, and still nothing. I've even, in desperation, tried installing Highpoint's own driver, but that's also not having any effect. I've probably missed something really obvious, but this is my first time with both SAS and this hardware. However, I note that the PCI ID (1103:3720) doesn't appear to be in include/linux/pci_ids.h, at which point I've more or less exhausted my knowledge of kernel internals... What do I need to do to get this thing to work? I'm only after JBOD -- I don't actually need the hardware RAID capabilities.
