I changed my config file to use normal /dev/psaux as a temporary solution. I'm coming from linux-2.6.14-rt22 where everything related is working fine. No software has changed. I run my own distro. Here's the relevant part of xorg configuration: Section "InputDevice" # Logitech MX1000 Identifier "Mouse0" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "evdev" Option "Dev Name" "Logitech USB Receiver" Option "Dev Phys" "usb-0000:00:1d.0-1/input0" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" Option "Buttons" "12" Option "ZAxisMapping" "11 12 10 9" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "false" Option "Resolution" "800" Option "SampleRate" "800" EndSection This worked when I used (Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"). Then it is bypassing the evdev system. The /dev/input/mice is present on the system, though.
