It booted fine _with_ the patch applied, with DEBUG_MUTEXES=3Dy and n. Boutcher, to be clear, you can't boot with kernel-kernel-cpuc-to-mutexes.pa= tch=20 applied and DEBUG_MUTEXES=3Dy ? But if you revert kernel-kernel-cpuc-to-mutexes.patch it boots ok? This is looking quite similar to another hang we're seeing on Power4 iSerie= s=20 on mainline git: http://ozlabs.org/pipermail/linuxppc64-dev/2006-January/007679.html cheers =2D-=20 Michael Ellerman IBM OzLabs email: michael:ellerman.id.au inmsg: mpe:jabber.org wwweb: http://michael.ellerman.id.au phone: +61 2 6212 1183 (tie line 70 21183) We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children. - S.M.A.R.T Person --nextPart2115656.CDpOnf0t70 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBDzYmbdSjSd0sB4dIRAu/HAJ9C+xoWbCC820f+kWfgNRDET+AaHwCgpA/9 gPuuFFvUqz9N+ALgBjv2gxE= =peic -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart2115656.CDpOnf0t70-- - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
