If one particular X server has a misfeature, the correct fix is to fix the server software. And in particular, it's *not* even an X problem, as you'd know if you bot= hered actually *reading* what you quoted: =22It is hard to see how they could have done other -- that is how much e= vil the cards contain.=22 So if you want to fix the *problem*, go learn enough about graphics to actually help design an open, non-evil chipset. That's the *real* proble= m, not whatever fantasized shortcomings of X itself you're trolling about. --==_Exmh_1147988823_16719P Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Exmh version 2.5 07/13/2001 iD8DBQFEbOtXcC3lWbTT17ARAhJPAJ9FFzbY53OC2UdAprz44wez8rQyjQCgrkW3 8meADDart8W8kym7E6lRJPQ= =f7wG -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --==_Exmh_1147988823_16719P-- - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
