Actual numbers seem irrelevant. It's just an index into this array: https://elixir.bootlin.com/linux/latest/source/drivers/mfd/sun4i-gpadc.c#L27 The array will get sparse, but that doesn't seem like an issue to me, because the irq code handles the holes in the list if mask is 0.
