I tried that with b770f04ba2ee (next step in bisect), but no success with this option, unfortunately. I'm not using grub but directly booting from UEFI using CONFIG_CMDLINE. Any other option I am using (root, loglevel and netconsole) works as expected and I veryfied that "amdgpu.discovery=0" is included in vmlinux.
