Message-ID: <20060809091043.GB6497@skybase> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.12-2006-07-14 Sender: linux-kernel-owner@vger.kernel.org X-Mailing-List: linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org Content-Length: 45557 Lines: 1685 From: Michael Holzheu [S390] ipl/dump on panic. It is now possible to specify a ccw/fcp dump device which is used to automatically create a system dump in case of a kernel panic. The dump device can be configured under /sys/firmware/dump. In addition it is now possible to specify a ccw/fcp device which is used for the next reboot of Linux. The reipl device can be configured under /sys/firmware/reipl.
