What I'm saying is that they shouldn't be represented as two drivers and two devices in Linux. They are in the same address space, and the clocks aren't used by any other hardware block. In the device tree we should represent them as one unified device, unless there is a good reason, such as hardware design, not to do so. In the drivers, we can actually just get rid of the audsys clock driver, and have the afe driver toggle the clock enable bits directly. Treat them as any other "enable bits" that exist in any hardware. ChenYu
