Kernel command line: BOOT_IMAGE=Linus-git-old ro root=302 video=vesafb:mtrr:3,ywrap,1024x768-24 That's not the string from the non-bootable kernels of course, but the only difference is the image name. (yes, I've tried without the `video=...') > It sounds a lot like http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7505 It looks similar, but I'm seeing different symptoms. I don't see any errors, and earlyprintk doesn't print anything. The machine just reboots after lilo outputs `BIOS data thing'. -- |---------------------| | Te audire no possum. | | Musa sapientum fixa est in aure. | |-------------------------------------| -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: The SXEmacs Project Comment: Eicq - The SXEmacs ICQ Client iEYEARECAAYFAkWa7T8ACgkQHSfbS6lLMAORZwCgq0ilo4SreYTifPZALt3AdQPs HIgAnRAFO6BJdZiTaUztExdgm5uimJts =3vmj -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
