To me it looks unrelated to #7810. In my case files are "written" to the disk but they disappear after umount, I don't get any OOPS (nothing at all in the log). I'm not sure it's a regression either. As I said I rarely use pktcdvd, it's possible that the last time I used it I still had the old motherboard with VIA IDE controller. Luca -- Software is like sex; it's better when it's free.
