As I understood previous bindings and your message above, these are all
incremented by one, so just list them and drop maxItems.

Trim the context, it makes it easier to spot the actual response. You
quoted a lot above and a lot below. I do not know if there is something
more to discuss? Usually quote means there is but I could not find... If
there is, use replying style matching mailing list.
