Note that we are resistant to adding custom ABI to IIO without very strong reasons. Calibration is probably valid, but the rest don't look it to me. They should either map to standard ABI Documentation/ABI/testing/sysfs-bus-iio or not be exposed to userspace at all. Custom ABI is basically unused ABI as generic software doesn't know about it. So one of the most important things to do in the IIO subsystem is prevent it being added unless absolutely necessary. Even calibration can sometimes be simply moved to device probe time depending on how it is done (I haven't checked here). > + &dev_attr_ads7038_crc.attr, > + &dev_attr_ads7038_status.attr, > + &dev_attr_ads7038_chanid.attr, > + &dev_attr_ads7038_cycletime.attr, > + &dev_attr_ads7038_calibrate.attr, > + NULL, > +}; > +ATTRIBUTE_GROUPS(ads7038_dev); > + > +static int ads7038_regulator_config(struct iio_dev *const indio_dev, > + struct ads7038_data *const data) > +{ > + struct regulator *reg; > + int ret; > + > + mutex_lock(&data->lock); > + ret = regulator_register_supply_alias(&indio_dev->dev, "avdd", data->dev, "avdd"); Why?
