I now tried using a similar approach like the one for changes for on PLL-CPU. It's using a notifier to connect the CPU to the 24 MHz oscillator and, after PLL-CPU is at its new rate, connecting it back to PLL-CPU. For the GPU my approach was to disable the GPU prior to changing PLL-GPU's rate and then re-enabling it, once the rate change is complete. I think, that's what you were proposing, right? Unfortunately, this results in a frozen phone even more quickly. Below is my code. Again, it doesn't solve the problem, but maybe somebody can spot what I'm doing wrong.
