Note that this does not happen at all with 2.6.24, but with 2.6.25-rc2-git1 it usually crashes at boot. If not, it crashes after about an hour (pretty random, but it never lasts very long.) --------------060109060203020906000907 Content-Type: text/plain; name="dmesg.txt" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline; filename="dmesg.txt" Initializing cgroup subsys cpuset Linux version 2.6.25-rc2-git1 (atomt@pelle) (gcc version 4.2.3 (Debian 4.2.3-1)) #4 SMP Tue Feb 19 23:24:03 CET 2008 Command line: root=/dev/sda1 ro rootflags=noatime rootfstype=ext2 console=ttyS0,38400 verbose BIOS-provided physical RAM map: BIOS-e820: 0000000000000000 - 000000000009bc00 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000000009bc00 - 00000000000a0000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 00000000000f0000 - 0000000000100000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 0000000000100000 - 000000007fee0000 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000007fee0000 - 000000007fee3000 (ACPI NVS) BIOS-e820: 000000007fee3000 - 000000007fef0000 (ACPI data) BIOS-e820: 000000007fef0000 - 000000007ff00000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 00000000e0000000 - 00000000f0000000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 00000000fec00000 - 0000000100000000 (reserved) end_pfn_map = 1048576 DMI 2.4 present.
