 Yes - I had same problem in Quake III demo.  System hangs
 after 20-30 sec

 yes. But  this  fix dont work in 100% - my  system hang
 after   near hour of  playing. Of course this is better 
 result then hang after 20 sec from start - but looks like
 this is not full solution
