Under what conditions would a system be alive and relying on freezing, *and* an emergency thaw would be worse than whatever reason you're doing an emergency sync? Hmm.. guess you *could* get into trouble if you tried to do a Sysrq-[not-s] and hit the wrong key - but you have the same danger if you have *any* sysrq- invoking an emergency_thaw and hit it by accident... --==_Exmh_1232119029_11157P Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Exmh version 2.5 07/13/2001 iD8DBQFJcKT1cC3lWbTT17ARAkxTAKD7kM4SXpoIq3HrEawjs648LxRppgCeMdoI e4CNEavZX4mczoldQXYa5PA= =1cuZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --==_Exmh_1232119029_11157P-- -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
