I simply disagree with your assessment of the situation. Yes, there are a few people who refuse to subscribe to such lists, but I maintain that's a fairly small proportion. I'd also point out that most of the people in this thread aren't subscribed to this list, yet they're posting freely to it. Some of the people posting to it will get a moderation message for a couple of times and then no more. As I've said in the past, unlike most subscriber only lists, these lists aren't strictly subscriber only.
