I have a Dual Pentium-233MMX Machine, which throws lots of Errors like this one: Dec 5 10:56:04 tyr kernel: APIC error on CPU0: 02(00) Dec 5 10:56:20 tyr kernel: APIC error on CPU0: 04(00) The Machine has a Gigabyte 586DX Board with onboard SCSI (AIC7xxx), ISA 3c509 Network Card, Soundblaster AWE64 (also ISA) and an old Tseng ET4000W32 graphics card. I am not a Kernel Developer, neither do I have good knowledge of C, so I don't know where to search for the Problem. Thanks in Advance. so far Falk /proc/scsi/scsi: Attached devices: Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00 Vendor: IBM Model: DCAS-32160W Rev: S65A Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02 Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 03 Lun: 00 Vendor: IBM Model: DCAS-32160W Rev: S65A Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02 Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 04 Lun: 00 Vendor: YAMAHA Model: CDR100 Rev: 1.10 Type: WORM ANSI SCSI revision: 02 Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 06 Lun: 00 Vendor: NEC Model: CD-ROM DRIVE:465 Rev: 1.03 Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02 dmesg output after boot: Inspecting /boot/System.map Loaded 13637 symbols from /boot/System.map.
