I believe that starting with something along the lines of git bisect start v2.6.31 v2.6.30 -- net/sunrpc include/linux/sunrpc should be the most efficient thing to do. Then use 'git bisect bad' and 'git bisect good' to label the resulting kernels as bad or good.
