Quoting myself: If you are discussing boot times rather than mdadm, might I suggest you change the subject line? Upstream is keen on finally dropping kernel autoassembly, and I support that because of the gained flexibility. Boot times are important for laptops and desktops, which are hardly the primary target of RAID. Anyway, this is FLOSS. If you want kernel autoassembly, take over the code and bring it up to speed. --=20 martin | http://madduck.net/ | http://two.sentenc.es/ =20 "what's your conceptual continuity? -- well, it should be easy to see: the crux of the bisquit is the apopstrophe!" -- frank zappa =20 spamtraps: madduck.bogus@madduck.net --cPi+lWm09sJ+d57q Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="digital_signature_gpg.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature (see http://martin-krafft.net/gpg/) Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) iEYEAREDAAYFAkt8becACgkQIgvIgzMMSnVTZACfcZBPy7jGwATI83NV9Wai5HAy BaEAoI1JpUjAT6T4nTDRBLAlVz5ymT6+ =CdXY -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --cPi+lWm09sJ+d57q-- -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
