The BIOS reports the CPUs as MP, but the kernel detects them as XP. As Jerry pointed out you can't run dual XP processors. I just grabbed the box the CPUs came in. It states the CPUs are MP. How can I tell if the problem is with the BIOS, CPUs or kernel? -- Bob Tanner | Phone : (952)943-8700 http://www.mn-linux.org, Minnesota, Linux | Fax : (952)943-8500 Key fingerprint = 6C E9 51 4F D5 3E 4C 66 62 A9 10 E5 35 85 39 D9 - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
