Symptoms are: system seems to boot up to the time to login. no console login and only Ctr Scroll Lock works. Daemons show up as active tasks running. About a minute latter message appears on console Init: Id "1" respawning to fast disabled for 5 minutes. Init: Id "5" respawning to fast disabled for 5 minutes. Init: Id "6" respawning to fast disabled for 5 minutes. And then it oops. ksymoops 2.4.5 on i686 2.5.24.
