The system appears to be running OK (Ie I have not noticed problems) I do have to run with noapic or the system randomly crashes (usually during boot, but sometimes after bootup) It was suggested that I try the pci=nocrs option which does get rid of that error message, but also results in a much slower boot and slower running of the system.
