The truly ironic part is that the current NVidia binary blob driver that everybody dislikes so much *IS* the "Windows equivalent" driver (in fact, it's the same driver, with a Linux shim layer wrapped around it). You can flame them for having a non-GPL binary blob, but you can't flame NVidia for not having equivalent drivers... --==_Exmh_1344053521_2048P Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Exmh version 2.5 07/13/2001 iQIVAwUBUByhEQdmEQWDXROgAQKDBQ/+OC3iADHWLhULLLtGPXuy+L2FIYJJGYUe 5eHsM//2LDCZOSeuvZt2JVh/cV2LoBRfsZicKCh8SZVYuc1Wt0J9ld58I5YlDNXl uwxZX+y/NQ/TOxPSZ8cgL11J+kFMl6G0LijA5zmXKxBVZrPPGKU7X6rVnbJtfCSJ t6wgsKTn8t2KlBxjaBRzLRJfV+O2WnONjhIwsplGhTYmsZ48jlKOchjU3FsKubXe tk1B+2sOfeJeJ+HtVTowRop0BAZoq+dZjubO4wwD4Hko153nnItDZEyo1tEzRceK +CuXvwRBMuCl8Xio6XKzTxzxnxcD4XdMiL5IGCs8zWW+hjN0kTheuP0dQLWDjU4b blBlEBDJKHozK8Q0bd3fjkrmBwb6eXGtbafOdzpSRNBBtvFGzzRE4Qj5/rDxtPWf KN4xD3h+ddKJQz4be1SivcD+W0NOX76kiYgtwf7K7ZNzHxydiyQBrsiI9poOKNvX gYG1GqxRjWcdOdFGry4LsGcDe+dP8RP+xn2J/KSmdMkLqFWguELq0Nth2dgj8tUH tN+LZYZw6f53OXgIaUvOFFuUak2TFvz+SB654rF2uSl4s5vA9G+XIJE0r/0ptARS fZzX173bE9gFjtmtV0WjcUMwwx+RmED39dFQP8IP3BaVbv71drw9JmKPeetCvYYs HSEPZ4F/jlk= =q0pM -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --==_Exmh_1344053521_2048P-- -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
