I have two Athlon 2100+ xp systems using Epoch EP8K3A mother boards. I don't seem to be able to get any 2.5.xx kernels to run on them for more than a few minutes. I have tried compiling kernels without specifying K7 or K6 I've tried with and without the via chip set options. The boxes have the via 82C586 chip set. The 2.4.19 kernels seem to be a bit more stable on them than the 2.5.xx are. If anyone has any ideas what I can check I'd certainly appreciate it. I'll include my .config and output from dmesg below.
