Hello,
I think i possibly foun a Bug in the Linux Kernel 2.4.0-test11.
I patched the kernel with the bttv driver 7.49 but nothing else.
My system was up for 5 1/2 days and than it crashed.
I have a Pentium 200MMX (overclocked to 225 but I REALLY don't think that's
the problem, because it worked fine with other Kernels.), a Asus TX97 Board,
64MB Ram, an Nvidia Riva 128 graphics card, a Hauppauge TV Card, a AVM Isdn Card,
a Symbios Logic SCSI Card and of course a D-Link network card (tulip based).
I also have several Usb devices attached (Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse)
At the moment when the kernel crashed, I was online (via ISDN) and I just closed
xawv (tv viewing program) and started playing a mp3 via mp3blaster.
(hope this information isn't too accurate)

That's interesting. Could you double check that you run 2.4.0-test11
and not 2.4.0-test12preX? There has been at least one reports of this
very bug and two others that look related. However, it looked like a
test12-pre[34] problem - until now.

The compiler version you are using is always an interesting data point.
But I doubt that this is the problem here.
