Subject: Bringing A2DP over embedded platforms.

Hi,
I wish to test bluetooth audio(A2DP) over embedded platform(ARM
i.MX27 board). As an exercise,I tried A2DP over desktop running FC9, and I
was able to stream audio onto my headset. Now when I try on i.MX27, after
bringing up bluez-3.36, nothing seems working. So, if someone summaries a
list of packages(version) needed to bring up A2DP over i.MX27 board, it
will of great help. I've attached my system and package details below.

My System Details:
Platform : ARM i.MX27 eval board.
OS : linux 2.6.22 kernel
BlueZ : 3.36
Alsa :1.013
Glib : 2.14.0
dbus : 1.2.4 (without x11)

Any suggestions/re-directions will be of great help.

Warm Regards
Dhinakaran K

I'd suggest you try 4.26. A lot has changed in the encoder to improve
quality and you may see improvements in performance as well.

Some embedded systems have suffered from the problem of low bit rates
between the cpu and bluetooth radio. You should have at least 920kbps
link for a uart-connected module.
