But since Fedora has fixed it and Marcel Holtmann is in the CC list of the above bug report, chances are high, that a fix might be on his way to some upstream repository. I'm not sure which repository, but because the rule is distributed through udev, I assume asking someone from udev might make sense (I haven't asked in some udev-related ml, just here).
